It is MEN that are the aggressors most of the time, in all our lives, as the article says. I was what you would call hesitant about some trans issues around language, but I never wanted to govern other folks bathroom habits.

If I ever encounter a trans person being harassed in public, I know I will say something. Truth is, in Scotland, I don't really see anyone stopping anyone else living their life. America must be fucking terrifying. Over here, the real battle seems to be improving access to discreet period products for trans folk who need them, and ensuring fair medical access to care. Those are harder for me to do anything about, but that's what I am hearing the issues here are now.
