Hmmmm. I do think that the monarchy in the UK has survived many, many serious upheavals and changes and I can’t imagine why this would end them. Charles will be on the side of protecting the planet, so he will be a good ally to the people when he is King. I would be shocked to find that this policy of racist nonhiring continues today.
Something about inherited responsibility is different than elected responsibility. I think the ratio of good monarchs to bad is probably equal to the ratio of good elected leaders to bad. They didn’t choose to be born in that position so maybe they can make good come from it. I don’t have any faith that the PM will save the land. He doesn’t seem to care and reps only himself. Monarchs do rep for the whole nation and its people.
Huh, I guess I’m a monarchist.
