So many on here have a US perspective only. Here is my perspective.
1. I believe Israel has the right to exist.
2. To condone civilian atrocities like october 7th and to give in to people who kidnapp civilians is to pave the way for more attacks of that nature around the globe.
3. I see more outrage at Israel defending itself than I have ever seen towards any other country doing the same. Half of the objectors are against Jews existing. The other half are useful idiots who are the victims of propaganda.

No one has ever told me what Israel could have done to get its hostages back that they WOULD have found acceptable. Die, seems to be the only answer. Well, we fucking won't. Good luck trying to wipe out Jews. You'll fucking need it.
I'm not trying to wipe out Muslims just because the Saudis attacked New York. Wtf? You know?
But I'm not saying I hold your whole opinion in contempt, I just feel like the whole debate has passed out of logic and into emotion long, long ago.
