…ers because they are anonymous — they have no conscience, no inner qualms about doing what they do. The fact that anonymity is accepted is, in itself, telling. In my day, you either had the courage of your convictions, or you weren’t much of a human being. That meant if you couldn’t take the consequences of your opinions, then you were a moral coward.

Yes. I am a moral coward because I remain anonymous. I justify it to myself because I am the sole provider for my children. I do feel a bit sweaty being anonymous. But I totally agree with you. The whole article is spot on.
